Over the past 6 years I have been able to promote some concerts and I had the extraordinary pleasure of promoting a concert with Kelly and Donna who are know as Still on the Hill. It was a beautiful morning and we were able to stage the concert out side in warm sunshine. They are a great team theses two, Donna providing some very different and interesting songs about a huge range of subjects and Kelly augmenting those words and tunes with some very fine musicianship. They are both multi instrumentalists, both skilful with the ability to convey the emotion which is the fire of their stories.

Two very memorable songs were 'The Ghost of the Crescent Hotel' and one about not giving up even when you become older - You'll have to Drag me to the rocking chair - but don't think for a moment you are going to get me to sit down. 

In the evening we ate dinner and sat around playing some songs, I think we did the definitive version of Tom Paxton's 'The Last Thing on My Mind' and wish that we had recorded it.
