House Concerts

Have you a special occasion coming up that you would like to celebrate with a few friends or would you just like to create a very special event ?

House concerts are informal concerts, usually in people's homes, where 20 or more people can sit comfortably to enjoy an intimate concert. Its a great way to bring Almond to your area for a personalised concert appearance.

Your Activities

The venue, must be pet and smoke free and quiet,  where 20 or more people can sit comfortably. It could be your home, your garage, or the local community centre, or village hall, meeting space, or outside in good weather.   You find 20, or more, music-loving guests, who make a donation of  around  £10 - Chf 30   per person.  (Depending on the distance from Almonds base and the number of people this may need adjusting to allow for the travel costs) Almond has his own PA System but with small groups it is not necessary, so if the group gets a bit bigger than say 60 he may require electricity for the amplifier. You may wish to provide drinks and snacks for the audience, or tell them to bring their own.  If the concert is a long distance from Almond's base he will need a place  to stay over night, hospitality in a private home, bed and breakfast, normal hotel...... or if you are very rich a 5 star hotel is also acceptable !  You inform the guests, before they come to the concert, that there will be Almond's CD's for sale, if people don't know this they might not bring money to buy them. Call up your friends and be enthusiastic,  send invitations out, asking for positive responses, the best is to issue a ticket to people and at that time collect their donation, 

You can also choose to open up your house concert to the public,  may be Almond has some fans who live near you might advertise on local radio or newspapers.

Almond will entertain and sing for two hour sets, or a bit more, with his acoustic guitar. He will also advertise the event on his website, if you would like this. He can also provide some artwork for printing up some handouts and posters. Almond will split the donations and give 17% of them to you the concert organiser.

Privatauftritt / Hauskonzert

Haben Sie einen speziellen Anlass oder eine aussergewöhnliche Veranstaltung, den/die Sie gemeinsam mit Freunden oder Bekannten durchführen möchten? Almond wird Ihnen gerne einen gemütlichen Abend mit seinem abwechslungsreichen Gesangsrepertoire und Gitarrenspiel zusammenstellen.

Hauskonzerte sind zwanglose Konzerte, normalerweise im häuslichen Kreis, in welchem 20 oder mehr Gäste in unbeschwerter Atmosphäre beieinander sitzen um eine abwechslungsreiche Darbietung geniessen zu können.

Tipps und Infos für die Organisation eines Hauskonzertes

Zu Ihrem Hauskonzert können Sie versuchen Ihre Freunde und Bekannte telefonisch oder schriftlich einzuladen.

Ideal ist eine musikliebende Gruppe von etwa 20 oder mehr Personen, die bereit sind für die Unterhaltung einen Eintritt von ungefähr CHF 30.00 pro Person zu bezahlen. (Der definitive Preis kann erst nach Kenntnis der Entfernung von Almond's Stützpunkt und der Anzahl Gäste festgelegt werden. Die Fahrtkosten werden individuell berechnet).

Der ideale Veranstaltungsort ist eine rauchfreie und ruhige Stelle, ohne Haustiere, in welchem 20 oder mehrere Gäste gemütlich beisammen sitzen können. Der Privat Auftritt könnte z. B. in Ihrem Haus, in Ihrer Garage, in einem Gemeindehaus, im Entree u.s.w. oder bei gutem Wetter im Freien stattfinden.

Erfahrungsgemäss ist es am Besten, das Geld bei Aushändigung der Eintrittskarten zu kassieren.

Falls das Konzert weit weg von Almond's Stützpunkt stattfindet, wird eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit nötig sein. Es kann sich um ein Privathaus, Bed and Breakfast, ein gewöhnliches Hotel handeln.....oder, falls Sie sehr reich sind, ist auch ein 5 Stern Hotel akzeptabel!

Vorgesehen ist ein Auftritt von zwei Mal einer Stunde. Nach Absprache können die Aufführungen kürzer oder länger geplant werden.

Essen und Getränke können durch den Veranstalter offeriert werden.

Ein PA System ist vorhanden. Dies wird jedoch für kleine Gruppen nicht nötig sein. Für grössere Gruppen, von etwa 60 Personen, wird eventuell Strom für einen Verstärker benötigt.

Bitte informieren Sie Ihre Gäste, dass diverse CDs zum Kauf angeboten werden.

Druckvorlagen für Flugblätter und Posters können von Almond zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Von den vereinnahmten Eintritten erhält der Konzertorganisator 17 % Provision.
