Ancient Future: is a fantastic collective of musician's led by Matthew Montfort. In 1978 Matthew had his guitar altered; the wood between the frets, the metal lines on the neck of the guitar, were carved out so that Matthew could then play guitar touching only the strings. The reduced friction allows Matthew to produce sounds which seem to be like those from a Sitar. In this music club we feature Matthew playing his song  'Michelle's Star'. Video from Alyesford, Kent England along the river Medway. 'Forest Frolic' written by Matthew and with the help of Manose Singh, Matthew Montfort, Liu Qi-Chao, Hedley Louden and Emam. The video was taken in The Perry Woods near Faversham in Kent. The Great Feel Good Company publishes a poetry book by Robert Duncan Martin. The poems were inspired by this beautiful place. Mariah Parker: playing her piano 'Waterwheel' with help from Matthew, Mindia Devi Klein, Kash Killion, Debopriyo Sarkar and Duru Demetrius.
